While many popular birding spots lack any type of lodge Cabañas San Isidro you will not have to sacrifice comfort for great birds and the chance to see other interesting wildlife. Cabañas San Isidro's 11 comfortable double rooms all provide private water and electricity,  as well as private living rooms.

Just outside your cabin doorstep is our Mirador lounge where groups can tally bird lists or just sit back and enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding hills after a long hike. At the days back in our cozy living room of the main house with a local welcome cocktail that is sure to warm you up. 

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in our hacienda dining room where you will be treated to a fabulous and original fusion cuisine tastefully blending the best of Ecuadorian and international influences.   It is not a coincidence that even the most devout birders, after having seen legendary and seldom seen species such as Bicolored Antvireo or White-capped Tanager, forget about the birds and rave about the world-class food and warm, friendly hospitality at San Isidro Lodge. Carmen's specialized culinary and hotel-management training are frequently put to the test when given the competition of the staggering forests and birds that surround San Isidro. Cabañas San Isidro strives to provide the best food it can with special personalized attendance to each and every guest. Please be sure to advise San Isidro Lodge as to any specific dietary restrictions you may have (vegetarian, allergy, etc.) so that San Isidro can serve you the food you enjoy the most.
